MG Motor and Tata Power deploy the first 50 KW EV charging points at Dehradun

Dehradun: In line with its commitment to encourage EV adoption, MG Motor, and Tata Power have deployed 50 kW Superfast public EV charging points in Dehradun, Uttrakhand.

Dealer Principal Mr Rajit Garg he said, “The deployment underlines MG Motor’s mission to enhance the national charging ecosystem with 25kW, 30 kW, 50 kW, and 60 kW DC superfast charging stations. Till now, the carmaker has installed 44 superfast charging stations across 41 cities in India, the highest by any Auto OEM.”

The Dehradun charging station will offer a hassle-free charging experience to all vehicles compatible with the CCS fast-charging standard. MG ZS EV – India’s First Pure Electric Internet SUV – can be charged from 0 to 80% in 40 minutes with the superfast charging station.

Building its CASE (Connected, Autonomous, Shared, and Electric) ecosystem, MG Motor has expanded its charging infrastructure to Dehradun, a city in Uttrakhand with a prominent historical, cultural and social stature.

Tata Power EZ Charge ecosystem covers the entire value chain of Public chargers, Captive chargers, Bus/Fleet chargers, and Home chargers. The company has also developed a robust software platform for customers of EV charging and released a mobile-based application (Tata Power EZ Charge) to give its consumers a simple and easy charging experience.  The app helps in locating EV charging stations, charging EVs, and making bill payments online, making it one of its kind.
