Brooklyn School conducted 37th Students Council Investiture Ceremony

Dehradun: Brooklyn School conducted 37th students council Investiture ceremony in a spirit of excitement and pride on last Wednesday. This event was held in school premises at school assembly ground, marked the induction of a new cohort of student leaders who were entrusted with the crucial task of guiding their peers and upholding the cherished values of the institution. The ceremony not only recognized the remarkable contributions of outgoing council members but also welcomed a fresh wave of young leaders set to steer the student body towards excellence and growth.

The ceremony commence with a warm and spirited welcome speech by Saini Patwal and Kairvee Jhouta, both out standing students from standard tenth science. Their words resonated with gratitude for opportunity to serve and make a meaning ful impact within the school community. Following this the distinguish Principal, Manju Grover illuminated the ceremonial lamp, a symbol of dispelling of ignorance and the ushering in enlightenment followed by the school song “Knowledge is Life”. The assembly Ground was filled with sense of divinity and inspiration as Priyanka Khati recited soul stirring Sholakas, setting a contemplative atmosphere that invoked blessing and set tone of solemnity.

The highly anticipated badge pinning ceremony followed , where the outgoing council members gracefully passed the torch of responsibility to their newly elected counterparts, Each House’s Captain and Vice Captain received their respective badges from their House Master and House Mothers, signifying their commitment to lead and Inspire, Principal of the School, Manju Grover then administered the oath of allegiance and duty, reminding council members of their pivotal role in exemplifying integrity and upholding the principal of the institution. The Principal also pinned the badges onto the newly appointed Head Boy , Head Girl Discipline Prefects, Activity Captains, Debate Captains and Sports Captains, symbolizing their official roles and responsibilities.

Throughout the ceremony, motivating speeches were delivered by the head girl and head boy, Vishushi Nayak and Shubham Kumar, articulating their vision and aspiration for the school. In Sync with head girl and junior head boy, Aakshi Handa and Aditya Tyagi respectively, also tool the stage to share their heartfelt aspiration, promising to provide unwavering support to the senior council members while leaving their own positive imprint on the school community. The ceremony further unfolded with speeches from Debate Captains, Anshika Rawat and Jahnvi Semwal and Discipline Captain Aditya Tiwari. The School’s dynamic Sports Captain , Rakshita Thapa , then illuminated the importance of sportsmanship, teamwork, and physical well being, highlighting the holistic development that Brooklyn School values.

The investiture ceremony also served as platform to introduced the Junior School Council Members. Mohd Rehan was bestowed with the honor of Junior Head Boy, while Aradhya Negi proudly assumed the position of Junior Head Girl. Additionally, students were named as House Captains and Vice Captains for Red, Blue, Green and Yellow Houses, Shreen Khan, Vedika Thapa, Lavanya Kharola, Angel Farswan, Aarohi Panwar, Rajshri Thapa, Aarna Thapa and Aarohi Binjola. The Senior School council members were announced with Shubham Kumar shouldering the responsibility of Head Boy and Vidhushi Nayak stepping into the role of Head Girl. Notable roles included the Junior Head Boy, Aditya Tyagi, Junior Head Girl Aakshi Handa, Discipline Incharges, Adita Tiwari, Activity Incharge, Dishe Kohli and House Captains for each respective house.

Mayank Saini, Sukhmani Bagga, Kartik Bisht, Kanika Rawat, Shaurya Deep Rawat, Pawni Singh, Diksha Jaiswal and Ishita Singh. Sports Captain Rakshita Thapa, Debate Captains Janvi Semwal and Anshika Rawat, The Discipline Prefects were introduced across various classes, under scoring the importance of maintaining discipline and order within the school community. Vaishnavi Thapa, Mohd Aaraf, Aahana Gurung, Aarohi Verma, Kavya Arora, Mohd Arhaan, Adhraj Tomar, Ananya Pal. Kartik Joshi, Avni Rawat, Jayaditya Dhundhara, Adiba Naaz, Mohd Afsar, Mehtab Khan, Devneet Saluja, Anshika Yash Sonkar, Ritika Ramola and Piyush Dayal. Director Nitin Grover expressed his appreciation for the dedication and commitment exhibited by the students, emphasizing the bright future that lies ahead with such exceptional leadership.
