Kanpur: After long pandemic of Covid-19 once again Zika Virus has tremendously spreaded in Kanpur city situated in Uttar Pradesh. First case of this disease was found at air base of Uttarpradesh and today another case was found in Kannoj UP. Till today around 79 cases of zika virus are found in UP. Local administration for preventing people from this disease along with starting awareness campain has also started motivating people to clean up water gathered near by their houses, tyres pots, drains etc. According to doctors this deadly is transmitted by Aedes mosquito which merely bites during day time. Symptoms of this disease generally are mild and include fever, rash conjunctivitis, muscle pain , joint pain, malaise or headache. According to doctors symptoms of this disease last upto 2 to 7 days. Most people with Zika virus infection do not develop symptoms. Zika virus during pregnancy can cause infants to be born with microcephaly and other congenital, malformations known as congenital zika syndrome. Infection with zika virus is also associated with other compilations of pregnancy including preterm birth miscarriage. Sometime this disease also increases the risk of neurologic complication.
