Dehradun: St . Joseph’s Academy organised The Annual Marathon on 23rd October, 2021, under the strict supervision of the Principal, Rev. Bro. Jeyaseelan and Vice Principal, Rev. Bro. Astinus Kujur.
Dr.R.Rajesh Kumar – the District Magistrate of Dehradun and Shri Janmejaya Khanduri (IPS) DIG, SSP – Dehradun- kindly consented to be the chief guests of the event.The marathon was flagged off by both the chief guests. The chief guests and the Principal motivated and inspired the participants by running the 8.2km marathon of the senior category. It was an exceptional move on their part which was widely acclaimed.The young Josephites showcased the best of athletic stamina putting up a fierce competition, each one wanting to get ahead of the other .
After a vigorous hour of running , the marathon came to its successful end.
The winners were as follows .In Sub Junior Girls -on first position Avishi Gupta 7C, Duffy House.On second position Ayaana Jaiswal 7B, Donovan House
and on third position Bushana Gogoi 7D, Donovan House. Among Junior Girls on first position Ashmita Chauhan 9A, Duffy House on second position Gayatri Sharma 9A, Duffy Houseand on third position Ballavi Badoni 9D, Donovan House. Senior Girls on first position Dakshita Jagpal 10 B, Bergin House,on second position Ashpreet Kaur 10 D, Duffy House and on third Pushti Bhatt 10D, Duffy House
Sub Junior Boys on first position was Shresth Rawat 7D, Bergin House on second position was Krishav Bagauli 7C, Bergin House and on third position was Arsh Upadhyay 6D, Donovan House.Junior Boys on first position Utkarsh Topwal 9A, Dooley House on second position.
