Dehradun: 11 Oct2021: All India Business Development Association presented the “Rashtriya Pragati Award” with Medal to Ashu Satvika Goyal for her work as a Social Activist & Cultural Ambassador of India in New Delhi. The delegates who presented this award was Ambassador Dr. V.B Soni, Prof. (DR) K.S Rana ( Vice-Chancellor of Mewar University Rajasthan), Mr. Ajay Tamta (member of parliament and former union minister of state, ministry of textiles), Mr. Dhirendra Pratap Singh (ex-minister Uttarakhand government, Vice President and Chief Media Coordinator Uttarakhand Congress) Dr. Jitender Singh Shunty (Padam Shree awardee, president of Shaheed Bhagat Singh Seva dal, SBS foundation ) Prof S.S Bhakri, Mr. Haripal Rawat Joint Secretary for all India Congress Committee, (AICC) Assam, Mr. P.C Nailwal former Vice Chairmen Uttarakhand Prawasi coordination and Welfare Advisory Committee.
She was born in Dehradun, in a family of educationists and eminent social workers. Her parent’s name is Vijay Kumar Goyal (Engineer) & Kiran Ulfat Goyal (educationist social worker & musician). She did her MBA from IIPM and M.com from DAV Garhwal University. She passed her MBA Degree as a Gold Medallist and attained an Academic gold student holder position, later she also did D. El. Ed.
She is a trained Kathak (Indian Classical Dance) dancer and also did some courses in Manipuri dance (East Indian classical dance), Hip-hop, Bollywood, Jazz, Contemporary, semi-classical & Afro Jazz dance forms. In her teenage, she gave her dance performances in England, Japan, France, Germany, Sweden, Holland, India, Brazil, and South Africa. Ashu Satvika Goyal is a social activist, cultural ambassador, artistic instructor, actor, & model. She is a co-founder of the festival Rang Himalaya (festival to celebrate Diversity and Earth fellowship) & a member of the Global youth network creating a new civilization. She has participated in several international conferences and meetings since her childhood on global issues and is an accomplished Indian classical dancer as well as an award-winning painter. She was honored with a National Award “Bharat Vikas Ratan” for outstanding achievement in the field of social work by the National Economic & Social Development & All India Business Development Association in 2018.
Her Maternal grandparents Prof. Lekh Raj Ulfat & Smt H. Sadhana Ulfat are the founders of Nanhi Dunya (The International Movement of Children & their Friends) which was founded in the year 1946, working in the field of Child, Youth & Women Welfare. Her maternal uncle, Alok Ulfat is the founder of Avikal ‘an initiative for life & active learning’ and Rang Himalaya festival.
