MUSSOORIE Aug: The 49th edition of the Jackie Memorial Football Tournament commenced at St. George’s College from 23rd July, 2022. The tournament will be organized from 23rd July, 2022 to 14th August, 2022. A total number of 32 teams (14 Clubs and 18 Schools from Dehradun and Mussoorie) are participating in the tournament.
Four matches were played today whose results are as follows: 1. St. George’s College (B) v/s Shivalik Academy In the first match played today, St. George’s College (B) won by 4-0. For St. George’s College (B), all the four goals were scored by Maghav in the 10th, 17th, 26th and 28th minute. 2. St. George’s College (A) v/s Wynberg Allen School (A).
In the second match played today, St. George’s College (A) won by 1-0. For St. George’s College (A), the only goal was scored by Satya in the 25th minute. 3. Manorite v/s Navchetan Sports Club In the third match played today, Manorite won by 5-2. For Manorite, the goals were scored by Ruben in the 6th minute, Jyotish in the 8th, 29th and 42nd minute and Advitiya Gudinho in the 59th minute. For Navchetan Sports Club, the goals were scored by Vikas in the 21st minute and Manoj in the 40th minute. 4. Yuva Sports Club v/s Kyarkulli Sports Club In the fourth match played today, Kyarkulli Sports Club won by 2-1.
For Kyarkulli Sports Club, the goals were scored by Pawan in the 37th minute and Naveen in the 42nd minute. For Yuva Sports Club, the only goal was scored by Imran in the 50th minute. The Refrees for today’s matches were Abhi Gurung, Pushkar Gusain, Balvinder, Shubham Thapa, Rohan Chamoli, Sushant Ale and Richard Joseph.
