37th Monitor Badge Pinning Ceremony conducted at Brooklyn School

Dehradun: The 37th Monitor installation ceremony for the Academic Year 2023-24 was held in Brooklyn School’s Assembly Ground on 28th of April, 2023. The ceremony marked the beginning of the new academic year with great enthusiasm and reverence. The event was an opportunity for young students to take on the mantle of leadership and accept the responsibilities entrusted upon them by the school. The ceremony started with the lighting of the lamp by Principal Manju Grover, followed by the Gayatri Mantra. An impressive parade presented by the Monitors marked the start of the event, which was followed by an oath taking ceremony. The students also presented a meaningful assembly on leadership. The young leaders from Classes 1 to 12 were formally invested and appointed in leadership roles. The school has always prided itself in gifting great leaders to the society and believes in the strength of nurturing the quality of leadership among the students right from the foundational stages to the senior secondary years.

The programme was organized with the intent of encouraging and recognizing the hard work and commitment of those young students who are in charge of their classes all-round the year. The badge pinning ceremony was carried out by the respective class teachers. The newly elected monitors took an oath administered by the Principal Manju Grover, pledging to work diligently and keep the school’s motto and honour in high esteem. They promised to conduct their duties and responsibilities with utmost sincerity and loyalty to the school.

The Coordinators & Supervisors familiarized them with the duties associated with the pivotal responsibility placed upon them. Director Nitin Grover congratulated the Prefectorial Body and advised them to take up their duties sincerely and with full commitment. He also said that he students as badge holders have a great responsibility put in their able hands. They must work sincerely to uphold the four pillars of Education: Knowledge, Wisdom, Character and Courage & they must commit themselves to maintain a perfect balance between academics and co-curricular duties.

The newly elected monitors for the session 2023-24 were; Shivay Sharma, Arpita Nautiyal, Shivank Thapa, Aahana Thapa, Kartik Rana, Advika Khandelwal, Aarohi Binjola, Palaksh Negi, Aradhya Negi, Mohd. Rehan, Aaradhya Gupta, Dhairya Singh, Anamta Fatma, Akshara Rana, Himank Gill, Dev Singh, Vaibhavi Bhandari, Ananya Tiwari, Ansh Chauhan, Garima Behl, Rashmeet Kaur, Shreya Chaurasia, Saini Patwal, Anshika Srivastava, Priyanshu Singh, Prince Chand, Anshika , Aakshi Handa, Anshika Rawat, Anamika Rathi, Gaurav Bisht, Ananya Rajvanshi, Disha Kohli & Kartik Bisht. The ceremony ended with the school song viz. Knowledge is Life.
