Dehradun: Former Chief Minister,N. D. Tiwari, is being given Uttarakhand Gaurav award posthumously. Pt. N.D. Tiwari went on hunger strike against creating Uttarakhand a separate state and said that, ‘It will be created on my dead body’. When ignoring him and his hunger strike Uttarakhand was formed, he manipulated to become Chief Minister of the state and distributed more than 300 Rajya Mantri post. This action put a lot of financial burden on the state, resulting which Congress lost in elections. He was made Governor of Andhra Pradesh.
There also he brought a bad name to Uttarakhand because of his sexual deeds and Congress has no option left but to ask him to resign from Governorship. Renowned poet, ‘Narendra Singh Negi‘made a song, ‘Nochami Naraina’ which became the household song. To confirm Uttarakhand Gaurav award to Mr. negi, is seen as, ‘SABKA SATH, SABKA VISHWAS, SABKA VIKAS’. Following the policy of the ruling party of changing name, one NGO person changes the name of the village, ‘Shuklapur’, to his organization’s name. This NGO also, has encroached upon the forest with the in connivance of the Forest Department.
