Tula’s Institute inaugurates Marico Centre for Women Empowerment

Dehradun, November 30:
 To make a difference in the graduating women’s life, Tula’s Institute inaugurated the Marico Centre for Women Empowerment at the college premises today. Implemented by the ICT Academy, the Centre aims to empower the women students of the institution with employability skills of the IT and BFSI sector. The Marico Centre of Excellence will train 84 students on employability skills, provide certification, and facilitate placements for certified students.

The students will be trained on skills, such as data analytics, python programming, cloud infrastructure & services, and banking & financial literacy. The training will be delivered for 75 hours through virtual mode, followed by expert mentorship and placement facilitation. For the sustainability of the program in the future, faculty members of the host institutions will be also be trained.

The Centre for Women Empowerment was inaugurated by Executive Director, Tula’s Institute Silky Jain, Dean Academics, Tula’s Institute Dr. Nishant Saxena, Vice President–Technology, Tula’s Institute Dr. Raghav Garg, Head – Corporate & Government Initiatives, ICT Academy B. Raghava Srinivasan, State Head – Academic Operations, ICT Academy Kamlesh Singh, and Relationship Manager – Academic Operations, ICT Academy Aaditya Singh.

Executive Director, Tula’s Institute, Silky Jain, said, “Tula’s Institute has been working to serve the society and nation. An educated woman is a powerful individual as she has the capability of educating all the members of her family, making decisions, guiding and advising her family when they stray from the right thing and contributing economically for the enhancement of a family, society, and nation.”

Head of Corporate & Government Initiatives, ICT Academy B.
