13th May 2023, Dehradun: The two-day-long annual cultural fest ‘Sanskriti’ commenced at Tula’s Institute, today. The fest was inaugurated by the Chief Guest Prof Dr. N.K Joshi, Vice Chancellor of Sri Dev Suman University, Chairman of Tula’s Group, Sunil Kumar Jain, Secretary Sangeeta Jain, Executive Director Silky Jain Marwah, Vice President Tula’s Group Raunak Jain, and Vice President of Technology Dr. Raghav Garg.
The first day of Sanskriti witnessed an array of captivating performances ranging from art, drama, and music to fashion walks and much more. Chief Guest, Prof Dr. N.K Joshi, commended the institution for its research work and cultural diversity.
The program saw participation from different universities and colleges across Uttarakhand including Graphic Era University, Quantum University, SGRR, etc. The program showcased an impressive variety of performances such as Uttarakhand cultural dance, Nepali dance, Northeastern Cultural fusion, and more. Over five bands from across Uttarakhand entertained the audience with their melodious music.
“The annual cultural fest ‘Sanskriti’ is a platform where students get an opportunity to showcase their talent and creativity. Tula’s Institute encourages its students to participate in extracurricular activities, and Sanskriti is one such platform that brings out the best in them. It’s an excellent initiative to promote cultural diversity and ethnic harmony amongst the youth.” said Sunil Kumar Jain, Chairman of Tula’s Group.
The event also featured various forms of Western cultured dances, including fashion shows with different themes such as Glitz and Glam, Devil Evil, Wedding Bells, Seven Sister, and more. The audience was left awestruck by the remarkable display of talent and creativity.
The organizers expressed their gratitude towards all the participants, guests, and attendees who made the event memorable. The second day of Sanskriti 2023 promises to be even more entertaining, where students will witness performances from renowned Singer Mithoon, Asees Kaur, Abhishek Nailwal, and Mohammed Irfan.
Also present during the occasion were Director Sandeep Vijay, Deans Dr Nishant Saxena, and Dr Ranit Kishore.
