Transport and Social Welfare Minister Chandan Ram Das bowed down at Shri Darbar Sahib

Dehradun. On Saturday, Uttarakhand’s Transport and Social Welfare Minister Chandan Ram Das bowed down at Shri Darbar Sahib. He was impressed and astonished to see the magnificence and sacred heritage of Shri Darbar Sahib. He also had a close look at the ‘bhitti chitra’ (graffiti) which are the ancient art pictures made on the walls of Shri Darbar Sahib. He sought information about the historical and sacred significance of these graffiti.

He was highly impressed to know about the significance of Shri Darbar Sahib in the history and nomenclature of Dehradun. He had a formal meeting with Shri Darbar Sahib’s Shri Mahant Devendra Das Ji Maharaj who showered
his divine blessings over him. Shri Maharaj Ji enquired about the health of minister Chandan Ram Das and wished for his good health.
At 5 p.m. in the evening on Saturday, the fleet of Cabinet Minister Chandan Ram Das reached Shri Darbar Sahib. Here he was welcomed as per the tradition of Shri Darbar Sahib.

During the formal meeting, Shri Maharaj Ji gave him a glimpse of the various commendable and social welfare activities being done by Shri Guru Ram Rai University, Shri Guru Ram Rai Institute of Medical & Health Sciences, Shri Mahant Indiresh Hospital and Shri Guru Ram Rai Education Mission. Minister Chandan Ram Das highly appreciated and congratulated Shri Maharaj Ji over the efficient running of SGRR institutions.

He, in particular, emphasized the importance of Shri Mahant Indiresh Hospital as a strong partner of Uttarakhand State Govt. in ensuring effective healthcare of the people of Uttarakhand. He heartily congratulated Chairman of Shri Mahant Indiresh Hospital, Shri Mahant Devendra Das Ji Maharaj for the successful running of Ayushman scheme at Shri Mahant Indiresh Hospital. He also requested Shri Maharaj Ji for his kind help and guidance on various matters.
