Dehradun. On Wednesday, the Speaker of Uttarakhand Vidhan Sabha, Ritu Bhushan Khanduri bowed down at Shri Darbar Sahib. She had a formal meeting with Shri Darbar Sahib’s Shri Mahant Devendra Dass Ji Maharaj. She expressed deep gratitude towards Shri Mahant Devendra Dass Ji Maharaj for opening a Paramedical College at Kotdwar under Shri Guru Ram Rai University. The Speaker
and Shri Maharaj Ji had detailed discussion over current affairs of Uttarakhand State.
At 10:30 a.m. in the morning, the fleet of Speaker of Uttarakhand Vidhan Sabha Speaker Ritu Bhushan Khanduri reached Shri Darbar Sahib. She was welcomed as per the tradition of Shri Darbar Sahib. Shri Mahant Devendra Dass Ji Maharaj gifted her a memento of Shri Darbar Sahib while welcoming the Vidhan Sabha Speaker. Vidhan Sabha Speaker said that there is an extreme need of upgrading
the health facilities at Kotdwar. SGRR Group will search the possibility of Medical Education and Nursing College in Kotdwar. Shri Mahant Indiresh Hospital will extend every possible support in strengthening the health facilities of Govt. Base Hospital, Kotdwar.
Agriculture Deptt. of Shri Guru Ram Rai University will be running special programmes in Kotdwar in Mushroom production, Honey production, fisheries, etc. Shri Mahant Devendra Dass Ji Maharaj acquainted the Vidha Sabha Speaker with the welfare activities of Shri Guru Ram Rai University, Shri Guru Ram Rai Institute of Medical & Health Sciences, Shri Mahant Indiresh Hospital and Shri Guru Ram Rai Education Mission for the society.
