Dehradun: The Indian Public School On the auspicious occasion of s 75th Independence Day, the students and staff of IPS observed the day with pride and patriotism. The students presented patriotic songs, poems and speeches on the occasion. The Chairman of the school, R.K Sinha, former MP Rajya Sabha was also present on the occasion to hoist the tricolour. He educated the young minds about the importance of freedom and the need to preserve it. During this program school administration also organized Inter-House Folk Song Competition .This event was held in the evening, to celebrate the diversity of our rich cultural heritage. Students participated in varied folk cultures including Bihari, Rajasthan and many other remarkable folk dances, traditional music and songs. The event was graced by the august presence and motivation of the Chairman, Mr R.K. Sinha, and former MP Rajya Sabha. The students participated enthusiastically in the event
