Dehradun: 05 November Trilok Nath Sharma:For controlling dynamic impact of pollution in city local administration since couple of years of back has started service of E rickshaw service. During starting period fair charged by various E rickshaw drivers was five rupees per person.
But as demand of this service rise fair recovery made by various e rickshaw drivers went to ten rupees as service of bus was stopped by local administration in Dalanwala area. Since two years back to control covid-19 pandemic local administration has allowed e rickshaw drivers to charge twenty rupees per person but at that point of time during covid-19 pandemic and only two passengers were allowed to sit in e rickshaw but as covid-19 impact declined fair charged has remain only upto 20 rupees and from two to six passengers are forcibly have to sit in e rickshaw.
Structure of e rickshaw is like that it can’t bear the weight of six passengers and armature drivers some time runs this battery operated rickshaw very rashly which increases the chance of accident. If E-rickshaw drivers are forcibly allowed to sit five to six passengers then fair should also be reduced from twenty to ten rupees same like in past.
