Dehradun: The Patrician Brothers are synonymous to sincerity, dedication and selflessness. To commemorate and honour their tenacious efforts in their educational endeavours, St. Joseph’s Academy celebrated the 215th Foundation Day of the Congregation on 2nd February, 2023. The programme began with presenting Planters to felicitate our Principal, Reverend Brother Jeyaseelan and Vice Principal, Rev Bro Astinus Kuzoor. This was followed by the ‘Lighting of the Lamp’ and a Prayer Dance by Class 6 on the Hymn ‘Lord I Lift Your Name on High’. Next, the School Choir sang a hymn to appreciate St. Patrick’s Day.
The Middle School, then, presented a wonderful skit on the life of the Patrician Brothers ,thus, denoting their selfless services rendered by them. Nostalgia spread when a PPT on the life of the Patrician Brothers was showcased that proved that their journey of a hundred miles was possible by their first step taken out of their comfort zone! Thereafter, our Principal Rev Bro Jeyaseelan delivered a speech appreciating the steadfastness of the Patrician Brothers and their immense contribution to society. He also thanked the teachers and other staff members for truly accepting each Brother in their hearts and for their relentless services rendered. The occasion ended with the ceremonial cake cutting event followed by a sumptuous High Tea.
