SJA Students remarkably celebrated St. Joseph’s Day and Labors Day

Dehradun: The Spirit of joie de vivre prevailed in every nook and corner of St.Joseph’s Academy as the school celebrated a combined programme to mark St. Joseph’s Day and Labours Day on 29th April 2022 . The programme commenced with the lighting of the ceremonial lamp by the Community Leader- Rev.Bro. Carol, the Principal – Rev. Bro. Jeyaseelan, the supervisor V S Rautela and Pradeep – an ancillary staff.

The choir presented a melodious rendition which was followed by an expressive classical dance.The josephites left no stone unturned as they recited poems, delivered emphatic speeches and performed a mesmerizing skit – ‘ Kshramic: is din k navi’. Students of Class VII left an indelible mark on everyone with their dance performance on the song -‘ Hum Mazdoor’. The entire ancillary fraternity of SJA was felicitated by Rev. Bro. J C Carroll, Rev. Bro. Jeyaseelan and the Vice Principal – Rev. Bro. Astinus Kujur. One of the ancillary staff members, Sampoorna Anand, was conferred with a memento and a monetary reward for giving twenty – five years of service to St. Joseph’s Academy.

The Principal, Rev. Bro. Jeyaseelan, expressed his gratitude towards the ancillary staff and advised the gathering to keep the campus clean as a gift to them. The ceremony culminated with the Supervisor V S Rautela expressing his heartfelt gratitude amidst a great round of applause by the students.
