SIMH carried out a free medical camp at the natural calamity hit village Sirketh of Raipur Block

Dehradun. A Free Medical Camp was organized by Shri Guru Ram Rai University and Shri Mahant Indiresh Hospital at the natural calamity hit village Sirketh of Raipur Block on Thursday. In the Medical Camp, needy villagers of eth natural calamity hit area and nearby areas were given free medical consultation and free medicines.

This information was provided by Medical Superintendent of Shri Mahant Indiresh Hospital, Dr. Ajay Pandita. On Thursday, the team of doctors and support staff of Shri Guru Ram Rai University and Shri Mahant Indiresh Hospital reached the difficult to access natural calamity hit area. They had detailed discussions about the condition of the affected people and gave them medical consultation. The team also provided them with medicines and other necessary treatment.

Shri Mahant Indiresh Hospital’s team comprised of Medicien Deptt.’s Dr. Akash Agrawal, Surgery Deptt.’s Dr. Ruhi Nirav Jariwala, Ortho Deptt.’s Dr. Panini Gaur, Pediatrics Deptt.’s Dr. Dr. Anshita Saboo and Community Medicine Deptt.’s Dr. Fauzia Naz who provided medical consultation to the needy people. Free medicines were also distributed by the team of Shri Guru Ram Rai University and Shri Mahant Indiresh Hospital. Besides this, the team also carried out free Blood Pressure and Blood Sugar tests of the patients.

The people injured in the natural calamity were done free bandages and Anti Tetanus injections. The team of Shri Mahant Indiresh Hospital also took medicines and gave to the natural calamity hit people of Dhantu Ka Sera and Bhainswad. Significant roles were also played by Head P.R.O.
