Shri Guru Ram Rai University signed MOU with ASSOCHAM

Dehradun 4th August 2022: On Thursday, a Memorandum of Understanding was signed between Shri Guru Ram Rai University and Associated Chambers of Commerce and Industry of India (ASSOCHAM). Both the reputed organizations will jointly work on disciplines like Environmental Conservation & Enrichment, Energy
Management and Waste Management, etc. ASSOCHAM will be organizing national and international seminars for the students of SGRR University on topics of Environmental Conservation & Enrichment, Energy Management and Waste Management.

As per the MOU, the students of Shri Guru Ram Rai University will be participating in online and offline training programmes organized by ASSOCHAM, New Delhi. The Memorandum of Understanding (M.O.U.) was signed by Registrar Dr. Deepak Sahni on behalf of Shri Guru Ram Rai University and by Pankaj R. Dharkar, Chairman, GEM, Green Building Certification on behalf of ASSOCHAM. ASSOCHAM in a Green Initiative to care for the Mother Earth and executes the “GEM Sustainability Certification Program” with the objective to complement in India’s Sustainability Movement and take it to the next level to promote environment friendly green building design and construction.

Speaking over the occasion, Vice Chancellor of Shri Guru Ram Rai University, Dr. Uday Sigh Rawat said that this M.O.U. will provide a unique impetus for the researchers of both the organizations to get valuable exposure on the subjects of Environmental Conservation & Enrichment, Energy Management and Waste Management. Many new avenues will open for students as well as young researchers to work as a team in a symbiotic manner benefitting both the institutions. The occasion was also marked by the auspicious presence of Dean, School of Management and Commerce Studies, Dr. Vipul Jain and (Prof.) Dr. Suman Vij, Deputy Director, IQAC.
