VERSION The decision given by Supreme Court is a strong lesson to a particular section of social media and other media. It is because such media houses in an attempt just to create excitement make a situation of illusion in the society.
Without having the Constitutional and Legal know how of any matter tarnishing the image of an institution is against the society. Due to
such careless and irresponsible media personnel, a question mark is imposed over the credibility of the whole of the media. All those
informations causing illusion and nuisance uploaded on certain media platforms must be deleted immediately. SGRR Medical College has won this war of truth in the High Court as well as the Supreme Court. This victory is the result of correctness on constitutional grounds of all the points put by SGRR Medical College. Bhupender Raturi Head Public Relations Officer SGRR Medical College
DETAILS OF THE WHOLE ISSUE At the time of counseling of MBBS 2018 batch, the MBBS Fees was not decided. Due to this reason, the Additional Chief Secretary, Uttarakhand, Om Prakash had released a letter in this context and mentioned that the fees being deposited that time by the students was only a provisional arrangement. After knowing this fact, the medical students had declared on
stamp papers of Rupees 100/- each that they will be depositing the fees decided by SGRR University/State Fees Committee/Appalent Authority as per the orders of the High Court. But later on they declined to deposit the fees decided by the Entry and Fees Regulation Committee which is turning away from the affidavit signed by them. Some students and guardians had even gone to the extent of sitting at the gate of SGRR Medical College to oppose the SGRR Medical College. THE REASONS WHICH LED TO WORSENING THE MATTER FOR THE MEDICAL STUDENTS
- Not agreeing to the Fee Decision taken by SGRR University/State Fees
Committee/Appalent Authority. - Not following the Affidavit given by the students and their guardians at
the time of admission. - Even after the comprehensive explanation of the decisions of
Constitutional Institutions, not depositing the fees. - Sitting at the gate of SGRR Medical College to oppose under the
influence of the anti social elements. - Not depositing the fees even after the decision of the Honourable
Supreme Court.
