Dehradun: Shri Mahant Indiresh Hospital’s Ex Finance Manager Saurabh Sharma and his Maternal Uncle Arvind Sharma are still far from being arrested by the police. After legal case registered under section 420, 406, 467, non bailable section 468, 471 and 120 B of Indian Penal Code, these both accused are running away from being arrested by the police. Under Section 467, in case the crime is proved, the imprisonment can be up till life imprisonment.
In this connection, a delegation of senior officials of Shri Mahant Indiresh Hospital met Director General of Police on Monday.
The members of the
delegation explained in detail the whole case to the Director General of Police. Director General of Police issued orders to C.O. Patel Nagar to take necessary action in this matter. The delegation of Shri Mahant Indiresh Hospital has also submitted copies of the complaint letter to the District Magistrate, Senior Superintendent of Police and Incharge, Kotwali, Patel Nagar. In the letter submitted to the Director General of Police, the Authorized Signatory Manager of Shri Mahant Indiresh Hospital has brought into the knowledge of D.G.P. that inspite of the legal case registered under serious sections, Saurabh Sharma and Arvind Sharma are said to be wandering freely.
They can execute any such action which can rub the evidences against them. They can build up a conspiracy against the complainant Authorized Signatory Manager Vijay Nautiyal and other officers of the hospital and can prove to be life threatening. The delegation appaealed the Director General of Police that the investigation in this case must be completed at the earliest and the arrest of these both accused must be ensured so that Saurabh Sharma and Arvind Sharma can do no harm to the hospital’s officers and workers. It’s significant to mention that Saurabh Sharma worked as the Finance Manager of Shri Mahant Indiresh Hospital from 2012 to 2016. During his tenure at Shri Mahant Indiresh Hospital, Saurabh Sharma and his maternal uncle Arvind Sharma who was the owner of Sai Medicos misused their posts and did scam of
the money deposited in advance by the patients.
Saurabh Sharma and Arvind Sharma together did the conspiracy and did the scam by making fake bill of Rs. 1,45,49,416/- (Rupees One Crore Forty Five Lacs Forty Nine Thousand Four Hundred & Six). Saurabh Sharma with his maternal uncle Arvind Sharma made fake bill and got it paid by the name of Sai Medicos. This fraud and embezzlement was revealed after the annual audit at which the hospital management complained the matter to the police. When no action was taken by the police on this matter, at last the court ordered the Kotwal, Patel Nagar to register a legal case.
