Dehradun: St. Joseph’s Academy organised 1st Bro. V. P. Bernard Inter-school girls basketball tournament from 21st to 24th August 2022. Chief guest on this ocassion was the Vice Principal, Rev. Bro. Astinus Kujur. On day 1, SJA (TEAM A) played against Woodstock School and won by 40-27. Ballavi Badoni was adjudged the highest scorer with 16 points.
In the next match ,The Aryan School defeated Wynberg by 38-29. Akriti from Aryan School was declared the highest scorer with 10 points. The third match was played between Army Public School – Clement Town and Army Public School -Birpur in which APS Clement Town beat APS Birpur by 34-4 and Priyanka was adjudged the highest scorer with 10 points.
The fourth match was between Unison World School and SJA (TEAM B) in which SJA girls were declared the winners by 26-8 with Sneha Sharma being the highest scorer with 14 points. The next match was between Woodstock and APS Birpur in which Woodstock girls beat the APS girls by 18-2 and Nysa was declared the highest scorer with 10 points. The last match was played between Wynberg Allen and SJA (TEAM B) in which Wynberg beat SJA by 29-06 and Hiranya Jain was adjudged the highest scorer with 10 points.
