Dehradun: Members belonging to Uttarakhand congress committee to staged protest against BJP Government for unnecessarily rising prices of grocery and various other petroleum products. Leading the protest City President of Congress Pradesh committee Lalchand Sharma said that Union government by rising cost of various petroleum products like Petrol LPG and Diesel has spoiled the budget of common Man as all edible and grocery items are indirectly related to transportation. He also alleged that since January 2014 till Aprill 2022 in the game of price rise Modi Government has filled their pocket by earning 85 lakh cr rupees in the form various kind of taxes. He also alleged in last 18 months BJP Government by tremendously rise the prices of various petroleum products due to which backbone and budget of people has fully spoiled. Congress members also further alleged on global level market prices of crude oil has 75 percent declined ,but BJP government instead of providing petroleum products on adequate prices to the people is charging more price, which is not feasible at any cost.
