Dehradun: The state Commission for protection of child rights will approach the state government to include skill development training programs. This information was shared by Chairperson of SCPCR during press conference held at local hotel situated near Subhash Road. While talking to media she said that commission has fully prepared plan to provide facilities of self defense, entertainment and regular counseling to children across the Uttarakhand with hassle free academic sessions’

She also said that commission will also work on sensitive issues like preventing substance abuse and beggary among children along with working for their rehabilitation. Along with that vocational training will also be provided for shaping their better future. She also said that among various 13 districts of state two districts to each member of commission has been assigned and within one year audit reports of various schools will also get prepared members in detail form. She also said on 27 April workshop on POCSO Act will be held in which Chief Minister will also be present as eminent guest. Others present during this press conference were Roshini Sati, Vinod Kaparwan and Deepak Gulati.
