Women participated enthusiastically in this health camp, in which Smt. Asha Suyal, Smt. Bhavna Pant ji etc. were also present! The number of women suffering from breast cancer is constantly increasing, due to lack of awareness and changing lifestyles, the month of October is celebrated all over the world as the Breast Cancer Awareness Month to bring awareness of breast cancer among women.Hearing the name of breast cancer, cancer patients and their families give up hope of living, but according to experts, this assumption is not correct, in India, every year the number of women suffering from breast cancer is thirty out of one lakh.
The average is increasing. According to Dr. Sujata Sanjay, director, Gynaecologist & Obstetrician of the Sanjay Maternity Center, if you feel any lumps, swelling or any kind of change in the breast, then contact your doctor. It is very important to understand here that different symptoms of breast cancer are found in different women. Breast cancer is easy to understand, women can do breast examination themselves. Lumps in the breast, changes in the shape or skin of the breast nipples, hardening of the breasts, blood or fluid coming from the nipples of the breast, pain in the breast, lumps under the arms (under arms) can also cause breast cancer. Although not every lump in the breast is cancerous, it is very important to get it checked, so that it does not catch the form of cancer in future.
According to Dr. Sujata Sanjay, increasing weight along with alcohol, smoking, tobacco, especially after menopause,
increases the risk of breast cancer in women. This is because more hormones in the body are released from the fat tissue, getting pregnant at an older age and not breastfeeding the children are the main causes of breast cancer. Therefore, it is important that women keep their weight under control, decide the time of conception, and breastfeed their children for at least 6 months, thus reducing the risk of breast cancer. The cause of breast cancer can also be genetic, but it is found only in 5–10 percent of women.
Dr. Sujata Sanjay says that changing your lifestyle excessively in changing times can also lead to breast cancer. It is recommended that high-cholesterol foods such as fast food such as burgers, French fries, chateas, red meat breasts increase the risk of cancer and do not consume contraceptive medicines, in addition to having mammography done once a year after the age of 40. Dr. Sujata explains that there are 4 stages of breast cancer, if the breast cancer is in the first stage, then the patient is more than 80 percent expected to be cured, in the second stage, if there is breast cancer, 60 – 70 percent of women are cured.
If there is breast cancer in the third or fourth stage, then treatment becomes a bit difficult, women who avoid exercising, the risk of breast cancer increases manifold. After menopause, it is very important for women to exercise. If you do not like heavy exercise, then you can go for half an hour daily. If you want, you can also maintain your fitness by choosing options like gardening or swimming. It also helps in reducing belly and waist fat. In a recent study on breast cancer, it was revealed that if there is obesity along with vitamin D deficiency, then it increases the risk of breast cancer, research has shown that good vitamin D is present in the body with low BMI. The level acts against breast cancer.
