Mussoorie, June ,1 st 2023:- Oak Grove School celebrated its136 th Founders’ Day today. The Chief Guest on the occasion Shri Ajay
Nandan, Divisional Railway Manager, Moradabad Division inaugurated the function by the lighting of the lamp and unfurling the school flag in the school valley field and took the salute of the march past. Naresh Kumar, Principal, Oak Grove School read out the annual report highlighting the achievements of the prestigious institution. The students of the three wings of the school presented Song, Dance, Band display, Pyramid, Regional Dance and Karate. The Chief Guest inaugurated the Science and Art Exhibitions. In the Science Exhibition students made different working models such as water testing lab, Radar ,Medicines in Kitchen and Haemodialysis
etc.In the science exhibition the Artificial Snow fall, Chemical Traffic Light and Chemical Sun Set models were appreciated by the Chief
Guest.
Later on the Chief Guest presented awards to the students for excelling in academics. The certificates and Gold medals were awarded to the students of Class-XII scoring 94% and above marks in CBSE Board Exam to Aryan Upadhyay , Raksha Kumari, Akansha Singh, Dhanistha Roy and Sourish Sahu. The certificates and Gold Medals were also awarded to the students of Class-X scoring above 95 % marks to Shriyam Kumar,Syed Ayan Raza,Vinamra Vibhuti, Sara,Prakhar Prayaga,Gautam Anand,Aditi Shree,Raghav Mishra, Hrishabh Raj, Riya Kumari,Harshit Jha and Sarthak Saxena. The most prestigious trophy “Angika Cup” won by Patel House and Mirabai House respectively. The trophy of best NCC cadets was given to Sarthak Saxena and Pallavi Kumari of Class-XI.
Shri Ajay Nandan appreciated the efforts put in by the children in making the function successful. Speaking on the occasion, Mr. Naresh Kumar said that the onerous task of shaping the mind, body and character of the boys and girls could never be accomplished without the unstinted cooperation of the members of the faculty who work tirelessly round the clock to bring out excellence in every field. At last Kusum Kamboj, Head Mistress Oak Grove Girls; School proposed the vote of thanks to the Chief Guest of the day as well all the dignitaries present .
