Dehradun: Acacia Public School, Nehru Gram celebrated Mother’s Day today. Principal Puja Maria explained to the students importance of Mother’s day. She said mother is always the first teacher of a human being. She said contribution of mothers to the society is immense. “Mothers have a key role in making of child and the society and subsequently the nation”, Puja Maria said.
Class seventh student Rakshit Pokhriyal on the occasion expressed his views on the Mother’s day.
He said Mother’s role in shaping the personality of a child is unparalleled. He said the Mother is an example of true selfless service. He on behalf of students thanked all mothers for the selfless service to the society on the occasion of Mother’s day. Rahul, another class seventh student also put forward his views on Mother’s day. Children of class third and seventh presented a group song. Students of various classes also put up their paintings on Mother’s day for display. Acacia Public School’s Chairman Manmeet Singh Dhillon, Vice Principal Mamta Rawat and other teachers were present on the occasion.
