Inspite hurdles of covid-19 pandemic profit of UGB bank has balanced to increased

Dehradun: In the financial year 2021-22, the of Uttarakand Gramin Bank business has tremendously grown to Rs.9287.17 crore, with a growth of 7.97%.The net profit of the Bank  has increased by more than four times.This information was shared by Rakesh Teji, Chairman of Uttarakhand Gramin bank during press conference held today at UGB premises situated near MKP Chowk Dehradun. during press conference Chairman of thr bank also shared the audited financial data.

Sharing inforamation in detailed he also informed that during the Profit of Rs 6.82 crore has been recorded after all the provisions. A remarkable reduction in the NPA level has also been recorded. It was apprised by Shri Teji that during the financial year as per the guidelines issued by the Government of India, recapitalization of Rs 110.96 crore has also been infused by the Government of India, Sponsor Bank (State Bank of India) and the State Government, after which the bank’s C.R. A. R becomes 11.01 percent.

In press conference, it was informed by Ishwar Kumar, General Manager that the bank is providing all banking facilities through its 286 branches and is taking maximum participation in loan schemes sponsored by Government of India / State Government like Mukhyamantri Swarozgar Yojana etc. Vinay Kumar Khatri, General Manager informed that during the financial year, 35 beneficiaries have been financed by the bank for solar power plants worth Rs.56.28 crore. K.C. Singh Bisht, Assistant General Manager informed that in addition to 286 branches and 624 business representatives, the bank has been providing financial services through  6 financial literacy Vans, launched by the Chief Minister during the FY.Mr Teji also said that Bank is committed to become the best bank of the state. Lastly he also expressed gratitude to all the valuable customers, stakeholders, personnel, media persons on behalf of the Board of Directors of the Bank and assured that the Bank would continue to be ready to provide financial services to all the citizens of the State. Other senior officials of the Head Office were present on the occasion.
