Dehradun. On Tuesday, 11 th October 2022, an M.O.U. was signed between Shri Guru Ram Rai University and Indian Institute of Technology (I.I.T.). This M.O.U. was signed between these two reputed institutions on various significant points related to Bilateral Cooperation in Scientific Research and education. The M.O.U. was signed on behalf of Shri Guru Ram Rai University by its Vice Chancellor Dr. Uday Singh Rawat and on behalf of Indian Institute of Technology (I.I.T.) by its Director Prof. Ajeet K. Chaturvedi.
Addressing the gathering at the occasion of signing of the M.O.U. at Indian Institute of Technology (I.I.T.), Roorkee, Shri Guru Ram Rai University’s Vice Chancellor Dr. Uday Singh Rawat said that under this M.O.U., Students Exchange programme will also be conducted. Under this M.O.U., faculty members, students and researchers from both the institutions will avail the golden opportunity of understanding, learning and sharing knowledge about the research works going on in both the institutions.
While speaking over the occasion, HOD, Deptt. of Cancer Surgery, Dr. Pankaj Kumar Garg informed that this M.O.U. provide a unique impetus and dimension to the assignment of Cancer Research. In Uttarakhand, with the rapid increase in the cases of Cancer, the work of Cancer related Research needs to be provided momentum.
