27th December 2021, Dehradun: The grand finale of Mrs. Uttarakhand and Miss North India 2021 organized by Himalayan Buzz was held at Ashoka Spa & Resorts today.Suhana Letka from Shimla won the title of Miss North India 2021 whereas Himanshi Verma from Dehradun stood the 1st Runner Up and Upasana Bisht from Kotdwar secured the 2nd Runner Up position. Beena Singh was awarded as the Model of the year and Amisha Rana was crowned as Himalayan Buzz Diva.
In the Mrs Uttarakhand pageant, Pratiksha won the title of Mrs Uttarakhand 2021 whereas Ankita was awarded the 1st Runner Up position and Parul Sardana secured the second runner up position. Parul Arya was crowned as Mrs Bollywood, Neha Singh was presented the title of Mrs Congeniality while Varsha Gairola was awarded the Mrs Talented title.
The jury of the beauty pageant included Fashion Stylist Ganesh Vyas & Fashion Designer Rishu Sharma.During the show, Vyanktesh Agarwal styled finalists of Miss North India, and trainees of Orane Institute styled Mrs Uttarakhand Pageant finalists.
Uttarakhand Couture Week concluded with the showcase of Fashion Design students of Dev Bhoomi Uttarakhand University.The contestants were assessed based on their confidence, style, sense of humor, and overall personality.Associate Dean of Dev Bhoomi Uttarakhand University Deepa Arya told that such platforms allow young students to showcase their creativity.
Speaking during the occasion, Organiser Gauraveshwar Singh said, “The main aim of organizing this beauty pageant every year is to promote the talent. The winners of this pageant will be working towards several projects to promote and preserve the rich culture and heritage of our country.”
