Dehradun: A Voluntary Blood Donation Camp was organized on Sunday, 05th February 2023 just like previous year at Gurudwara Guru Nanak Amrit Darbar, Machhi Bazar. It’s worth mentioning that a voluntary blood donation camp has been organized with the efforts of Sardar Santokh Singh, who is a member of Kalika Mandir Ward and Minorities Commission for the last 29 years. This year again with
the outstanding efforts of Sardar Santokh Singh a Voluntary Blood Donation Camp was organized at Gurudwara Guru Nanak Amrit Darbar. Sardar Santokh Singh is known for his noble gesture to organize blood donations camp to mark his birthday every year in order to do the great service of mankind by saving human lives in hours of medical emergencies.
The Voluntary Blood Donation Camp was inaugurated at the Gurudwara by Dehradun Mayor Sunil Uniyal Gama, Area’s MLA Khajan Das, Treasurer, Bhartiya Janata Party, Puneet Mittal, City President, Bhartiya Janta Party, Siddartha Umesh Aggarwal, Ravindra Kataria, Mandal President Ambedkar Nagar, Pankaj Sharma jointly. The team of Blood Bank of Shri Mahant Indiresh Hospital led by its Co-ordinator Amit Chandra, P.R.O. Mr. Mohit Chawla motivated the people at the venue to donate blood to save human lives. People, both males and females participated enthusiastically in the camp and as much as 185 (One Hundred and Eighty Five) Units of Blood was collected.
The credit of conducting the Voluntary Blood Donation Camp with as much as 185 Units donation also goes to the efforts of Blood Donation team of Shri Mahant Indiresh Hospital that comprised of Co-ordiantor Amit Chandra, P.R.O. Mohit Chawla, Dr. Rishabh Tomar, Technician Rajesh Kukreti, Technician Arun Rawat, Technician Nitika Pundir, Technician Shalini Joshi, Clerk Vipin Chand and Attendant Vikas Singh.
Significant contribution in the success of the camp also goes to Gurudwara Guru Nanak Amrit Darbar’s Sanjay Kukureja, Daljeet Singh Kukreja, Kalika Mandir Samiti’s Gagan Kukreja, Sanjas Chandna, Ashok Lmaba, Sanjay Anand, Manoj Sahni, Bhushan Shani, Satish Sahni,
