Dehradun/Bageshwar: With the integrated efforts of Ministry of Skill Development & Entrepreneurship, 5000 Skill Hub Centers were launched across the country on 01 January 2022. Among the 5000 skill hub centers Jan Shikshan Sansthan, Bageshwar (Financed by MSDE,GOI) run under the ages of Rural Litigation and Entitlement Kendra, Dehradun got an opportunity to provide Skill Training to youth.The program was started with an inaugural ceremony on 3 January 2022. The chief guest of program was the present Cabinet Minister Hon. Shri Chandan Ram Das. He inaugurated the skill hub centers with two job roles one is Self Employed Tailor and other is Domestic Data Entry Operator.
While addressing the youth he said that the Government of India is making continuous efforts to take forward the self-employment schemes of skill development. He apprised the attendees with inspiring things so that skill and interest towards learning could be generated in them. He told that at present employment-oriented training programs arebeing promoted under the national education policy. He also appreciated the work done by the institute in the field of skill development since last 15 years.
The Director, Jan Shikshan Sansthan,Bageshwar Dr. Jitendra Tiwari said that skill hub center is being started as a project of Pradhan Mantri Kaushal Vikas Yojana Phase 3.0. Through these Hub Centers, school dropouts and youth of age group between18-45 will be provided free vocational skills training according to their aptitude and will be prepared in the field of livelihood. He added that JSS, Bageshwar has been given a target to provide training to 160 youth under two Job rolesSelf Employed Tailor (Apparel Sector) and Domestic Data Entry Operator (IT/ITES). Institute had divided 20 participants per batch as 4hours per day training.The duration is of 3 months. He also said that the main goal of the Skill hub Initiative program is to provide employment-oriented education to the children and youth.
The Master Trainer, of Domestic Data Entry Operator CourseMr. Kamal Joshi delivered the core objectives of the course.He introduced students with the IT enabled service sectors and assured for the new opportunities of job andself-employment in the same. He added that ITES is a form of outsource services which involves IT in different fields like Insurance, Finance & Banking, and Telecommunication, it provides many opportunities for the students to enhance their skills and get employed or start their own entrepreneurship journey. The Vice Chairperson of the Institute, Mr. Deep Chandra Pathak said that Skill India training will be helpful in better livelihood.
