Forest Research Institute conducted Hindi Diwas

Dehadun: 14 September 2021: Forest Research Institute celebrated Hindi Diwas on 14 Sep, 2021 with much enthusiasm. In the programme prizes and prashasti patra awarded to winners of different competitions organized during Hindi Pakhwara from 1st to 14th September, 2021. First of all, S. K. Thomas, Registrar, FRI welcomed all the Senior Scientist/Officers and Employees present in the meeting. In the programme, addressing the audience A. S. Rawat, Director, FRI spoke about Rajbhasha Hindi and use of it as official language. He added that we should be proud for using Hindi as we are from Hindi Language speaking state. Further, he congratulated all the winners of different competitions organized during the forthnight.  

FRI deemed to be University and Forest Ecology and Climate Change Division. FRI were awarded Shield and Felicitation Letter for their excellent work in Hindi during 2020-21. Ashish Kumar, Kumari Akanksha Shukla,  Gaurav Negi and Raju were honored with cash award and citations for Essay Competition.  Anil Singh, Nitish Mathpal, Gaurav Negi, and Ashish Kumar were the winners of Noting and Drafting Competition. Kumari Kirti Rawat, Mrs Chandraprabha, Mohit Verma and  Akshay Saini were the winners of Hindi Typing Competition.In the speech competition, Vipul Sharma, Gaurav Negi,  Rudradev Sharma and  Akshay Saini stood as the winners.  Poem Recitation competition was won by  Gaurav Pandey,  Uma Shankar,  Kishan Kumar and  Mohit Bisht.At the end of the programme Shankar Sharma, Assistant Director (Official Language) thanked all the participants and Judges for making Hindi Pakhwada successful. He also expressed gratitude for the loving cooperation of all present in the meeting. All Heads of Divisions and Sections, Senior Scientists/Officers, Employees were present in the auspicious occasion.
