Dehradun. Women’s Day was celebrated by The Talk Room, Uttarakhand’s No. 1 Personality School, in which an event, “Change the Equation Powered by Aliya Kitchens” was organized. Organized at the Marriott Hotel, Malsi Road, the program was inaugurated by Mrs. North India-2017 Kavita Virmani as the Chief Guest, Dr. Meenu Vaish, Special Guest and Rashi Singhal, Head of Women Entrepreneur and Tupperwear, Uttarakhand. The program began with a presentation by Swarleen Kaur, Founder-Director, The Talk Room. Speaking on the occasion, she said that women should recognize their importance and she launched her new personality development course – ‘The Empowered Woman’ for women. It teaches women self-confidence and other ‘soft skills’ like stress management, decision making, self-identity etc. Many women took the course. The women were entertained and honored with fun activities and games, panel discussions, dance and music, and special gifts. The event ended with tea and breakfast. All the ladies were given a gift hamper and a few lucky winners got prizes like free HD makeup (Amy Makeovers).All the guests liked the program very much. The Talk Room successfully respected all women and took the issue of gender equality to the women of Dehradun.
