Dehradun: 11 Oct 2021: Under the banner of Bannu Biradari this year Dushera will be celebrated on 15 October at Bannu School premises situated in race course. This information was shared by Harish Virmani, President of Bannu Biradari. While talking to media he said that since last 74 years under the banner of Dussehra Committee Dehradun this auspicious event celebrated at Parade Ground, but due to Covid-19 Pandemic since last two years people of Dehradun are missing this event. He also said this year this program will be held upto Lanka Dahan and burning an effigy of Ravana. He also said that since independence under the supervision of founder of Bannu Biradari Late Laxman Das Virmani this auspicious event on regular being held and since few decades back under the supervision of Sardar Santokh Nagpal this event is conducted very gracefully. This year also Sardar Santokh Nagpal is elected as a president of Committee. This year also chief guest on this auspicious ocaasion will be CM of Uttarakhand. And to invite CM of Dehradun invitation has been already send by committee. Others present during this press conference were Harish Virmani, Harish Gulati, Manish Gera, Ramesh Khanija RS Bhatia, Ajay Kathurua, Harjeet Singh Manoj Sahani Sanjeev Vij and Tilak Raj Chandana.
