Doon Sikh Welfare Society Reached Shri Darbar Sahib And Honoured Shri Maharaj Ji By Wearing Saropa (ROBE OF HONOUR)

Dehradun: On Tuesday, the delegation of Doon Sikh Welfare Society met Sajjadanash in (Spiritual superior of the shrine) Shri Mahant Devendra Dass Ji Maharaj. The delegation members bowed down at Shri Darbar Sahib while Shri Mahant Devendra Dass Ji Maharaj
showered his divine blessings over them. Society’s founder Kripal Singh Chawla and current President Jasbeer Singh honoured Shri Maharaj Ji by making him wear a Saropa (Robe of Honour). The delegation members of Doon Sikh Welfare Society expressed deep gratitude towards Shri Mahant Devendra Dass Ji Maharaj for the Free Health Camps and Social Works being done by Shri Mahant Indiresh Hospital. At 10 a.m. in the morning, the delegation of Doon Sikh Welfare Society reached Shri Darbar Sahib.

The delegation members were welcomed as per the tradition of Shri Darbar Sahib. Speaking over the occasion, current President of Doon Sikh Welfare Society, Jasbeer Singh said that Shri Mahant Devendra Dass Ji Maharaj has always been a pioneer in social and humanitarian works. Many Free eye and Health Camps have been organized jointly by Shri Mahant Indiresh Hospital and Doon Sikh Welfare Society. These camps have been extremely beneficial for the patients of poor and lower economic status. In future also, Shri Mahant Indiresh Hospital and Doon Sikh Welfare Society will be joining hands in organizing such humanitarian camps. The delegation also included Doon Sikh Welfare Society’s Past President Sardar Gurjeet Singh, G.S.S Jassal, Society’s Secretary K.K.Arora, Society’s Treasurer Trilochan Singh, etc.
