Children’s Day celebrations held at St. Joseph’s Academy

Dehradun: The auditorium of St. Joseph’s Academy reverberated with applause and shouts of joy on 14th November as the school celebrated Children’s Day.The teaching faculty performed to entertain the young Josephites and to make their day memorable. Mr. Sum it Gupta started the programme by administering the oath to the head boy and head girl for the day – Mr. P. Bhandari and Ms. S. Uniyal. Following which the choir won the hearts of students with its melodious performance. 

The dance performance by the staff received thunderous applause by all the students who joyously cheered for their teachers. The staff also performed 2 minutes skit in between which kept the Josephites thrilled. The most awaited show was the ramp walk based on Indo-western theme which was much enjoyed by the students. The show stoppers of the ramp walk were the Senior School Coordinators, Mr. R. Sethi and Ms. S. Bist.

The Principal, Rev. Bro. Jeyaseelan wished the students and congratulated the entire staff for putting up a spectacular show.The event ended with the Head boy, Aryan Sahni and Urja Thakur proposing the vote of thanks.
