Dehradun. According to the mandate issued by the BTC (correspondence) trained organization in November 2011, a press conference was held regarding the appointment of BTC trained and other 18-point demands. On this occasion, even after talks with the government, a warning of agitation was given if the matter did not materialise.
A press conference was held on Sunday on behalf of the BTC correspondence trained organization at a hotel located near the Rispana bridge. On this occasion, the member of the organization Vipin Kumar Mittal said thatBTC correspondence training was done in 1995 for teachers by the Government of Uttar Pradesh. The teachers who were teaching in private schools without being trained, the Uttar Pradesh government took the initiative to train them in this direction. In this sequence, their training work was started in 1995. In the year 2000, the Uttarakhand government was conducting the training of BTC candidates residing in the state of Uttarakhand and some of the BTC candidates residing in UP. Correspondence BTC training in 864 candidates was completed in 2008. After completing the training, the correspondence BTC trained was to be kept on regular posts, but the government had issued a mandate to keep them in single and far-reaching schools in 2011 on honorarium. In the year 2011, the release of appointment for 864 posts in the government was also issued, but after the stay of the court, the appointment process was stopped. Meanwhile, the matter got stuck in the middle due to change of government. Due to which unemployment remains till date. The appointment process of Uttar Pradesh government BTC trained has been restored. Mittal said that we hope that on the lines of Uttar Pradesh, they should also be appointed on honorarium and 864 posts of BTC correspondence should be revived. Sangeeta Bhatt said that talks will be held with the Education Minister and the Chief Minister in this regard if our demands are not paid attention to. If we are ignored then we will be forced to agitate. Indu Rai said that this state-wide agitation would be for an indefinite period. Shashi Verma, Parameshwari Bahuguna, Sanjay, Durga Bhatt, Mahadev Uniyal, Vikram Payal etc. were present on this occasion.
