Dehradun: BS Negi Women Polytechnic conducted sports meet for the women. Chairman of the collage Harshmani Vayas during this event said that in this program 5o 0 meters race , 100 meter race, 400 meter race, 4100 rely, short put throw, discs throw, javelin throw, badminton carom , tug of war and many other spots activities were held in collage premises.
Chief Guest on this occasion was EX IAS SS Pangthi. Program began by flying balloons and cutting ribbon. During this program along with students teachers also felt excited and they also participate in various sporty activities. In the last Mountaineer Amisha Chauhan felicitated winners who all participated and stood winners various activities which were as follow.
In 50 meter race Anshika (FD) she also stood first in 100 meter race, 4100 meter relay race Arifa, Anshika Divya and Aamrin stood first. In Short put Pooja M.O.M second year stood first. In Badminton Shalini and Ritu F.D first year stood first. In carom Anjali and Shalini MOM were on first position. In Tug of War TD Department was winner and won gold medal along with certificate. MOM and SP Department won medal & trophy for best performance. During this program Members of Governing body KP Sharma,, Harishankar Joshi and Vijay Juyal were also present
