Aryan School was declared the winner of The Masterson and Bergin Memorial debate competition

8th August 2022, Dehradun: The Aryan School was declared the winner of The Masterson and Bergin Memorial debate competition that was held at St. George’s College, Mussoorie. The class 10th team was represented by three Aryan students. Rudrr Vinayak Bhatt took the role of the Prime Minister and had to define the topic, introduce his team, and assign the role to the other members of his team. Whereas, Gaurish was the Deputy Prime Minister and presented the arguments in favor of the topic. He also refuted the arguments of the opposition.

Chawin was the Chief Whip and his speech dealt with quoting the opposition and telling them what was wrong with their arguments. In the end, the Prime Minister had to give a closing remark. The students participated in a total of three debates.

Gaurish from Aryan School was awarded the Best Speaker title and the Most Promising Speaker during the occasion, whereas Chawin was adjudged the runner-up speaker during the competition. The Aryan School won a total of two debates out of three.

In the class twelve category, Abhay Pratap Singh from the Aryan School won the Best Speaker award for two of his debates as the Prime Minister and Leader of the opposition. Vedika won the Best Speaker in the third debate as Deputy Speaker of the Opposition. Sarvagya won the most Promising Speaker award as the Chief Whip.
