Dehradun: Shri Guru Ram Rai University’s School of Education organized an Orientation Programme on dated 29 September (Thursday) 2022 for session 2022- 24 for the newly admitted students in B.Ed., M.Ed. and Post Graduate Diploma in Guidance & Counseling. During the programme, Dean, School of Education, Prof. (Dr.) Malvika Sati Kandpal, all the faculty members and students of B.Ed.-2nd year were also present. The major
objective of the programme was to make the students aware about the scope of the courses of B.Ed., M.Ed. and P.G.D.G.C. as well as the rules and regulations of the School of Education, Shri Guru Ram Rai University.
The programme commenced with the lightening of the lamp by Prof. (Dr.) Malvika Sati Kandpal and all the faculty members. Student Diksha Kharka of B.Ed.- 2 nd year welcomed the new students and gave them an introduction regarding the School of Education while the faculty was introduced by Nitesh, student of B.Ed.-2 nd year. Dean, School of Education, Prof. (Dr.) Malvika Sati Kandpal gave brief overview about the School of Education, various courses and encouraged the students with her motivational words.
After that School of Education’s Prof. (Dr.) Anand Kumar briefed the new students about M.Ed., B.Ed. and Post Graduate Diploma in Guidance & Counseling programmes and their significance for their careers. The programme was finally ended by the students of B.Ed-2 nd year, Abhishek and Nitesh who shared their experiences and significance of B.Ed., M.Ed. and Post Graduate Diploma in Guidance & Counseling courses. At the end, the students were given refreshment.
