A legal case has been registered against ex Finance Manager of SMIH

Dehradun: A legal case has been registered against ex Finance Manager of Shri Mahant Indiresh Hospital at Kotwali, Patel Nagar. The case has been registered under sections 420, 406, 467, Non Bailable 468, 471 and 120 B of the Indian Penal Code. The management of Shri Mahant Indiresh Hospital had received complaints of fraud and embezzlement of Rupees 1.50 Crores against the Ex Finance Manager. The Court of Chief Judicial Magistrate First had ordered Patel Nagar Kotwali to register a legal case against Saurabh Sharma.

In accordance with the orders, Patel Nagr police has registered an F.I.R. The hospital management has said that it will be requesting the court to give strict punishment against these guilty of fraud and embezzlement. The hospital management will be leaving no stones unturned to prove its point and put the guilty behind the bars. It’s worth mentioning that Saurabh Sharma has worked as the Finance Manager at Shri Mahant Indiresh Hospital from the year 2012 to 2016. During this period, Saurabh Sharma and his maternal uncle Arvind Sharma misused his authority and did the scam of the advance money deposited by the patients. Saurabh Sharma and Arvind Sharma together did a scam of Rs. 1,45,49,416 (Rupees One Crore Forty Five Lac Four Hundred & Sixteen only). Saurabh Sharma long with his maternal uncle Arvind Sharma made a fake bill and got it paid by Sai Medicos.

This scam was noticed after the yearly audit after which the hospital management complained this matter to the police. When no action was taken , the hospital management through its advocate Manoj Yadav placed an application in front of the court. The court acted on the application and ordered Station Incharge, Kotwali, Patel Nagar to register an F.I.R. Its significant to mention that in present also Saurabh Sharma and his maternal uncle Arvind Sharma are harming Shri Mahant Indiresh Hospital. Sources say that currently Saurabh Sharma is working as a partner with Welmed Hospital. Meanwhile, Shri Mahant Indiresh Hospital has released the message that in case any worker or official of the ospital is found involved with corruption, financial irregularities, scam, fraud or embezzlement of any type then strict legal action will be taken against him/her.
