Dehradun: The delegation of the Central Working Committee of Gorkhali community gifted a
Tamrapatra written by the Maharaja of Gorkhali community. The members of the working committee
had a formal meeting with Shri Darbar Sahib’s Shri Mahant Devendra Das Ji Maharaj. Shri Mahant
Devendra Das Ji Maharaj showered the delegation with his divine blessings.
The President of Gorkhali Mahasabha, Padam Singh and Central Working Committee members gifted Shri Mahant Devendra Das JiMaharaj with a copy of Tamrapatra written by the distinguished Maharaja of Gorkhali community. At 10 a.m. on Thursday, the delegation of Central Working Committee of Gorkhali Mahasabha reached Shri Darbar Sahib. At Shri Darbar Sahib, they were welcomed as per the tradition of Shri Darbar Sahib.
The Central President of Mahasabha Padam Singh told Shri Maharaj Ji that Gorkhali Mahasabha has been associated since long with Shri Darbar Sahib. He said that it’s significant to mention that it’s a matter of pride for the Gorkha society that people say that if someone says he doesn’t fear death, then either he is lying or he is a Gorkha.
Shri Maharaj Ji assured the office holders of the Central Working Committee of Gorkhali community that Shri Guru Ram Rai Education Mission will be undertaking all the possible tasks for the welfare of the Gorkhali society. He expressed hope that both the institutions will jointly work as associates in the field of social service.
