7th May 2022, Dehradun: The two-day-long annual cultural fest ‘Sanskriti’ commenced at Tula’s Institute today. The fest was inaugurated by the Chairman of Tula’s Group, Sunil Kumar Jain, Secretary Sangeeta Jain, Executive Director Silky Jain Marwah, Director Raunak Jain, Vice President Technology Dr. Raghav Garg, and Director Dr. Sandeep Vijay. Addressing the audience, Chairman Sunil Kumar Jain said, “Coronavirus pandemic had halted all our lives for so long. After a long period of 2 years, we’re very excited to celebrate Sanskriti this year with zeal and fervency.
Each season of Sanskriti has bettered with time, and this year’s Sanskriti has many specialties in store for all of you.”He also congratulated the entire staff and students of Tula’s Institute for achieving the A+ grade in NAAC recently. Day one of the fest commenced with a welcome dance performance by one of the students, Niharika Sahu. This was followed by a rocking band performance by Abhishek Shankar & group.
Later during the program, a Fashion Show on Beach Theme was presented by the students. Several groups and solo dance performances were also presented by Trio Dance, Ansh Verma, Priyanshu, Mayank Bhatt, Adarsh & Agung, Sonam, Boys Trio, Anshika Srivastava, Bolly Divas, Jay Sharma, Monika & Yadi, Rudraksha Band, Kangku, Khushi Sinha, Adnan, Sahil Katariya, Raunak Kumar, Bhangra, Adiya, and Nepali Rap.Apart from dance and music, the students were also treated to the rib-tickling stand-up comedy.
Speaking on the occasion, Executive Director Silky Jain Marwah said, “Sanskriti, for all of us, is more than a festival. It is a platform for Tulaites and students from other colleges to showcase their talent across different creative and cultural fields. The fest brings students together, forming friendships that last for years.”She further added, “The concluding day of Sanskriti 2022 will witness some power-packed performances by renowned and popular artists including Sachin-Jigar, Ash King, Sumedha Karmahe, and Rakesh Maini.”On Day 1 of the fest, students of Tula’s Institute and Tula’s International School, among staff and other guests, were also present on the occasion.
