Dehradun: Chief Minister of Uttarakhand , Pushkar Singh Dhami on last Tuesday met Prime Minister of India Narendra Modi at Delhi. During this meeting while thanking the guidance and supervision of PM Modi CM Dhami also shared various developmental work and issues with PM Narendra Modi. During this meeting CM also requested to PM Modi to further extend the tenure of submitting GST in Uttarakhand. For development encouragement of latest techniques and scientific research CM Dhami also requested PM Modi to soon lay foundation stone of IISER Bhartiya Shiksha Evam Anusandhan Sansthan and for further development of Pharmaceutical industry NIPER National Institute of Pharmaceutical education and research. CM Dhami also requested PM Modi to provide 2000 crore package for gardening industry in Uttarakhand.
He also requested Pm to start initiative in providing same status to THDC India Limited in Uttarakhand same like UP. He also requested PM Modi to provide the suitable monitor facility for maintenance and renovation of traditional tourist spots, places and temples in Uttarakhand same like granted in Kumauni Region. He also requested to soon allow airstrip airlines service in Pithoragarh for boosting tourism in state. CM after detail survey of construction of final location of Rishikesh- Uttarkashi Railway line construction shared it in details, DPR and outlay with PM Modi and also requested PM to soon allow to begin construction work of Rishikesh Doiwala Railway Track .Chief Minister Pushak Dhami also said Rishikesh is globally well known for its culture, Spiritualism, Yoga and Ayurvedic treatment and by formulating Akhil Bhartiya Ayurved Sansthan Ayush theraphy in state will get further enhanced and it will also provide self dependent jobs to young unemployed. During this meeting he also shared the proposal of Jollingkand and Bedang tunnel with PM Modi, he said by construction this three tunnel 20 kilometer road proposal will improve road connectivity in Pithragarh and Chamoli region.
