Dehradun: 19 September 2021:While following Covid-19 Pandemic norms Balbadra Khalanga Vikas Samiti, Nalapani Dehradun today organised felicitation program at Abhinandan Wedding point situated near Ranjhawala. Eminent guest and dignitaries present during this program were President of Gorkhali Sudhar Sabha Padam Singh Thapa, President of Balbhadra Khalanga Vikas Samiti Deepak Bohra, Ram Singh Thapa, Col DS Khadka and Beenu Gurung. Program began by lightening ceremonial lamp by various guests present during this program. Addressing the gathering newly elected president Deepak Bohra in his address first of all thanked all people present during this program.

He also said that since last 46 years every year this event is celebrated near Sagataal Nalapani and Brave Soldier Balbhadra and other brave martyrs are recalled who all during war held in month of October-November 1814 fought for our country against British army. To recall their presence and to pay tribute to brave martyrs every year this Khalanga fair is been organised. People felicitated for their full efforts and contribution in society during this program were Ram Singh Thapa, Col DS Khadka, Col CB Thapa, Col SM Shahi, Col MB Rana, Kamla Thapa, Late Gajendra Singh Thapa,Jitendra Khatri, Sansar Singh Shahi, Manjeet Shahi, Premprakash Bhusal, Mohabat Singh Thapa, Vijay Singh Khatri, Bheem Singh budathoki, Gopal singh Rana Narendra Singh Gurun Yogeshwar guring Deepak Karki,Puran Singh Gurung, Rakesh Upadhya Vinod Giri, Jaya Chetri and PN Sherpa.
