22nd March 2023, Dehradun: Tula’s Institute hosted an interactive session titled ‘VIMARSH’ within the college premises today. The session VIMARSH (Vice Chancellor Interaction for Motivating and Revitalizing Students for Holistic Development) was conducted by the Vice Chancellor of VMSB Uttarakhand Technical University, Dr. Onkar Singh, and aimed to provide insights into various aspects of academic and personal development.
The event commenced with a welcome address by the Director of Tula’s Institute, Dr. Anil Kumar, in the presence of dignitaries including Vice President of Technology Dr. Raghav Garg, Dean Academics Dr. Nishant Saxena, Dean Management Dr. Ranit Kishore, and Registrar Dr. Pavan Kumar Chaubey. The Director of Shivalik Engineering College, Dr. Prahlad, along with professors from JBIT, Dr. Manoj Chaudhary and Dr. Sandeep Chaudhary, also attended the event.
The session also witnessed enthusiastic participation from the students of JBIT and Shivalik College, and students from other colleges affiliated with UTU also joined through the online mode. The session was conducted in hybrid mode.
Dr. Onkar Singh conducted an interactive discussion and engaged the audience on several crucial topics, such as career growth for university students, teaching and learning processes, student and faculty exchange programs, and digitization of academics through the University management portal.
Dr. Singh emphasized the significance of holistic development for students and advised them on self-discipline. He also highlighted the importance of a balanced approach to life that incorporates both academic and personal growth. Additionally, he stressed the need for students to cultivate a growth mindset and stay receptive to learning new things.
The session was well-received by the students, who found Dr. Singh’s insights to be inspiring and motivating. The session concluded with a Q&A session, during which students had the opportunity to interact with the Vice Chancellor and seek clarifications for their doubts.
