He said that not only to teach their respective subjects, but the faculties here are always determined to develop their all round personality. He said that Shri Guru Ram Rai University is one such university where the students on one side are studying Medical, Nursing & Paramedical courses while on the other hand, the courses of Agriculture, Humanities and Education are also being successfully run. He said that this type of multidisciplinary approach and healthy environment leads to the all round development of the students. शिव सेना पदाधिकारियों को संबोधित करते हुए शिवसेना उत्तराखंड प्रमुख गौरव कुमार ने कहा कि पूरा देश भारतीय सेना एवं उसके जवानों की बहादुरी को नत मस्तक है, पूरा हिंदुस्तान युद्ध के नायकों की बहादुरी ,वीरता एवं बलिदान को नमन करते हुए अपनी श्रद्धांजलि अर्पित कर रहा है। कारगिल युद्ध मैं भारतीय सैनिकों ने अपने अद्भुत शौर्य और वीरता का परिचय देते हुए पाकिस्तान के सैकड़ों सैनिकों को धूल चटाते हुए मार गिराया था। 

शिव सेना उपप्रमुख पंकज तायल ने सभी साथियों को कहा कि आज हम अपने सैनिकों के बलिदान को कभी नहीं भूलने की प्रतिज्ञा लेते हैं ,हम शहीदों के परिजनों की सहायता के लिए हमेशा प्रेरित रहने का संकल्प लेते हैं।

     मंत्री गणेश जोशी ने केंद्रीय मंत्री को अवगत कराते हुए हुए कहा कि देहरादून‌ शहर के उत्तरी क्षेत्र, जिसमें गढ़ी कैंट सहित कई अन्य क्षेत्र सम्मिलित है, जिसका समस्त अवशिष्ट जल और मल मूत्र तमसा नदी में जाता है। गढ़ी कैंट क्षेत्र में लगभग 80 करोड़ की लागत से एसटीपी निर्माण और लगभग 20 करोड़ की लागत से टपकेश्वर में घाटों का सौंदर्यकरण कार्य किया जाना आवश्यक है। मंत्री गणेश जोशी ने केंद्रीय मंत्री गजेंद्र शेखावत से आग्रह करते हुए नमामि गंगे परियोजना के तहत इन योजनाओं की स्वीकृति प्रदान किया जाए। जिसपर पर केंद्रीय मंत्री गजेंद्र शेखावत ने सकारात्मक भरोसा देते हुए शीघ्र मामले में कार्यवाही का भरोसा दिलाया।

Dehradun: Confederation of Indian Industry (CII), Uttarakhand State Council & Himalaya Wellness Company, Dehradun celebrated International Yoga Day today. On the Occasion Yoga session was organized with the theme Yoga for Wellness with an objective of building immunity and health of employees.   

Dr S Farooq, Past Chairman, CII Uttarakhand & President, Himalaya Wellness Company, Dehradun while welcoming the participants mentioned that our country is known for yoga world over and is a birthplace of Yoga. He shared that we all must practice yoga in our daily lives to remain healthy, positive, and strong. Mr David Hilton, Chairman, Hilton School, Dehradun & Ms Patricia Hilton, President, Rotary Club, Dehradun were also present.

Ms Ritu Lamba, Yoga Instructor, Dehradun was the key resource person for the session. She explained about benefits of Yog asanas and gave various yoga tips including those on managing diabetes & Asthma. She shared that yoga is a good basic stretching for easing pain and improving mobility in people with lower back pain. 

Over 100 employees of Himalaya Drug Company & CII State Office participated actively. The session was organised in open area and various asanas like Tadasana, Triyak Tadasana, Kati Chakrasana, Vriksh Asana, Vajrasana etc were practised by the participants.

The result of the first day matches were as following in first match Doon School defeated RIMC by 1-0. Arjun Prakash  from Doon School remarkably in 36 minute. In second match Welham Boys Blue defeated PPS Nabha by 2-0. Kritin and Kavish from Welhams Boys  Blue goaled in 37^th minute.

Third match was played between Oak Grove School Musoorie and Welham Boys White but this was draw without any goal. Fourth match was held between Wynberg Allen School Mussoorie defeated YPS Mohali by 4-0. Tejas from Wynberg Allen goaled in 13^th minute, Anhas in 24^th  34th minute and Joshus goaled in 53^rd minute. In fifth match Doon School defeated  Welham Boys by 2-0. Arjit Snadhu from Doon School goaled 27^th and 60 minute. Lastly sixth match was played between Welham Boys Blue and YPS Mohali where Virat goaled in 28minute, Yash goaled in 51^st minute, Kavish goaled in 55^th min and Aryan goaled in 59 minute.

The chairperson of the Rural Litigation and Entitlement Kendra, Mrs. Pratima Menon, delivered the welcome address and spoke about the need for capacity building of teachers to ensure quality education for all. She highlighted the role of the organization in promoting and protecting the rights of marginalized communities, including their right to education.

The three-day training program includes the inauguration and welcome of guests and participants followed by an ice-breaking session, a talk on educational psychology and stress management, handling gender stereotyping, common mistakes in teaching English, innovations in teaching- learning process, fundamental rights and duties, basic rules of various sports, the role of humor and appreciation in the class, sensitivity and child rights. Apart from this group activities and their presentation will be conducted which would help the teachers more on application. A wide variety of recreational activities such as indoor and outdoor games, music and dance will be held each day which will enable the teachers to refresh and recharge themselves.

स्थानीय प्रेस क्लब में पत्रकारों को संबोधित करते हुये मुख्य अतिथि के रूप में माननीय उच्च न्यायालय उत्तराखण्ड नैनीताल के अधिवक्ता एम सी पन्त ने कहा कि यूनियन की ओर से रिट याचिका संख्या 363 आफैँ 2022 मा0 उच्च न्यायालय में योजित की गयी, जिस पर मा० उच्च न्यायालय नैनीताल द्वारा: सेवा निवृत्त कर्मचारियों एवं कार्यरत कर्मचारियों से की जा रही कटौती पर रोक लगा दी गयी थी किन्तु निर्णय के पश्चात भी कुछ भ्रष्ट अधिकारियों द्वारा सेवानिवृत्त एवं कार्यरत कर्मचारियों से अवैध रूप से की जा रही कटौती को बंद नहीं किया गया, जिसके विरूद्ध यूनियन द्वारा अवमानना याचिका 195 आफैँ 2022 दायर की गयी, जिस पर मा० उच्च न्यायालय नैनीताल द्वारा दिनांक 05.09.2022 को पारित निर्णय में मा0 उच्च न्यायालय नैनीताल द्वारा पूर्व में पारित निर्णय का पालन न करना स्पष्ट अवमानना मानी गयी किन्तु इसके बावजूद भी परिवहन निगम के अधिकारियों द्वारा निर्णयों का दरकिनार करते हुए कर्मचारियों की कटौती निरन्तर की जा रही हैं. जिससे कर्मचारियों के मध्य भारी रोष व्याप्त है। उन्होंने कहा कि परिवहन निगम प्रबन्ध क्षेत्र अपनी हठधर्मिता के कारण मा० उच्च न्यायालय उत्तराखण्ड नैनीताल के द्वारा पारित निर्णयों को दरकिनार करते हुए कटौती किया जाना अवैध कृत्य है।
